Why was AAMC 6 retired?

Just curious why they'd decide to retire this particular one. I have a pdf copy of it from my brother and it doesn't seem to be much different from the others.
 
I think they're going to sell the rights to exam companies so they can use it for their own materials.

Like how EK uses AAMC1 for their verbal strategy.
 
And as a result, make the exam even harder.... gotcha

I mean. Number 6 is pretty archaic now anyway because from what I've read 11 is pretty different in many ways. 11's closest to the newer ones.

In addition, AAMC might use 6 for their own books as well.

Could you kindly tell me where the AAMC1 verbal is in the EK material. Is it in the EK101 book? I've never heard this before. Thank you.
 
I've recognized the comet passage in at least one other Kaplan or AAMC test and the one about olestrin (both in physical science section) also seemed familiar...
