Why x school secondary essay - mentioning a professor?

Hey everyone,

I had a quick question about the Why x school secondary essay. I recently ran into a professor at a medical school and will be meeting her again this week. Though I was initially planning on not applying to the school she works at given that my stats are on the lower end, her urging me to apply has made me reconsider. This school requires an individual research project for graduation and she so happens to be an advisee for those projects. I was wondering how it would look if I mentioned that I would want to work with this professor in the "why this school" secondary. Of course, I would ask her first - but I wanted to get other people's feedback as well.

thats a little too strong. we dont want to discourage the applicant; we just want them to be prepared for interview questions.
