Why you want to go to that school-- app question

What kinds of things are you supposed to write on an application question that asks why you want to go to that school? Would writing about research opportunites be okay if it's a reseach-oriented school, or since many schools offer this, would writing it be bad/cliche? How about location? I'm really stumped! Help! Thanks!
