Hi everyone! I have been accepted to a DO program and was recently offered WICHE funding for my resident state (Arizona).

My question is when does the repayment-through-service begin? It states you begin practicing in your home state "after graduation." Can someone clarify if this means after graduation from a residency program and not medical school itself?

Are there any documents or required proof that WICHE applicants are in a residency program and that their commitment service to their home state hasn't yet started?

Any help or insight would be appreciated 🙂
