I too applied to Widener and am awaiting word. Does Widener do interviews?
I also have my Bachelor Degree in Communication Studies. I'm not sure if that's the same thing is Communications.

I was accepted to both programs and I am hoping to turn down both programs aswell even though I put my deposit down for temple. Although temple is a very strong program, I didn't leave my interview feeling that there was something special and unique about the program. I can go into more detail in a PM if you want but I felt like there was a stronger atmosphere and opportunity for learning at other programs I interviewed at. As for Wiedner, I never visited the campus but have heard some not so great things about the nieghborhood and the program relative to other programs. These, however, are all subjective opinions. Both schools have excellent pass rates for boards and are relatively the same as far as tuiition is concerned (at least for in-state students) Hope any of that info helps!
Just got my acceptance letter!
