The University of Nebraska School of Medicine & The Belize Institute for Tropical & Wilderness medicine will be hosting a two-week rotation (2 weeks clinical time also available) on Wilderness, Tropical, Marine & Dive Medicine in Belize, Central America, September 15-30th, 2005.

This is our 10th year of offering such programs, but this is a very special “turf & surf” rotation! The first week will be spent studying wilderness & tropical medicine in the fabulous rainforest of the Cayo District. We will then move to the island of Ambergris Key for the second week of work on marine, costal, and diving medicine!

General information can be found at www.gmrsltd.com - be sure and click on the “Important Info” link for general details & an application. Learn about the Sibun training center under the “Facilities” link, and go to http://www.belizeanshores.com/ to see where we will be staying week two!

This can be done as a 2 or 4 week (including 2 weeks clinical time) rotation for medical students and residents, and CME’s/CEU’s are available for all medical providers.

Check out the other rotations offered in 2005/2006 as well under the Calendar link!
