Will a small decrease in Step 2 score negatively impact my chances? Do I have to release my score?

So I take my step 2 CK on Monday and I'm getting a little flustered because I haven't been getting the scores I've been hoping for on the NBMEs. I got a 258 on Step 1, and my NBMEs so far have been a 256 and a 260 and my UWSA is a 264. I'm hoping I will at least match my step 1 score but I am worried what will happen if I drop a few points.

Since I am taking it on Monday, the score will be released before I turn in my application, does that mean I have to include it in my application or can withhold it until after interviews?

Help me out guys, I'm freaking out a bit.

Even if you got a 240 nobody would care. I doubt anyone would say much. Step 2 CK would only hurt you if you were trying to boost a lower step 1 and couldn't manage it.

Don't withhold. Either take it or don't take it, but with your step 1 and your NBME scores I would stop stressing.

Thanks for the reassurance. I've just been struggling so hard to make sure I have a good academic record, trying to honor all my rotations, and this is like the last step in the puzzle so I'm trying not to freak out.
