I plan on taking all 3 acheiver tests, along with cramming my balls off in the library. I feel like my worrying about the sceinces sections might hurt me in QR and RC because I have barely studied for these two. Although I will this week could some of you guys go over what you did the last week? I know some of you say not to cram and whatnot but you need to realize for those of you who dont cram their are some of us who do....and i am definitely a crammer. Dont get me wrong I have been studying for some time but its going to be ridiculous for me this week.

Study Materials I have:
Kaplan BB
Destroyer
Cliffs AP Bio
Topscore
Soon to have achiever

Any thoughts??? I am REALLY worried about Gchem as I really choke on that section.
My tentative plan right now is to just dominate the destroyer as well as i can...while using my other guides to smooth out the rough edges

I'm freakin out guys...my GPA is in the lower range 3's....I dont have my app in yet due to my summer classes just getting over( I wanted one of my classes to replace my old one as it was a retake) so the lateness of my app. is already making me a weak applicant. If I do bad on this little test coming up I'm sure my app will be a laughing stock and wind up in the garbage instantly.

Thanks for the help.

There are a few points in your post that really need addressing. First, you really should be focusing on all the sections on the DAT. Not just the sciences. Why ruin a great science score with a 15 on the RC and QR section (it happens to people sometimes). The RC and QR sections aren't as simple as some people think.

With low 3's for a GPA, you shouldn't be cramming. You should have started studying sooner. You won't be too successful pulling off cram sessions in dental school. With your lower GPA, you also should have applied much sooner. AADSAS does not replace grades for courses that have been retaken. All the grades are averaged in together into one GPA.

You're not too late though. Will your new classes change your GPA that significantly? If so, you may benefit from holding off on the application until you get your new grades. Otherwise, just get that application out ASAP. Good luck on the DAT's. :luck:

Yes the grades will help quite abit...and I have been studying for a few months now...what I was trying to say is how I have seen some people say they dont like to cram and give themselves a break...I was simply saying i would rather cram than do that (at least that was the point I was trying to get across)

your on the right track and stop going crazy, the way it sounds you have studied but not too long... this is the time to focus and get things together... but don't lose sleep because you will start to forget things.

Your list of materials are good, now simply keep on going over questions in the first part of the day (solidifying sciences) and when you need to read up on things, go over material by skimming over parts of the book (this will help you for RC) Use the other part of the day and focus on QR and other parts you need straighting up in...

What ever you do, go over Kaplan Questions, Destroyer Questions, Archiver and Top Score... that way when you go for your test you will be sure that you did everything you could have, even in the short time frame!

Good Luck
