It's not true. So long as your final official college transcript (which you are required to submit to the med school where you will matriculate) shows that you've completed all the school's prerequisites and that you graduated, it doesn't matter that you are taking less than a full-time credit load during your final semester. So go ahead and conserve your monetary resources.I am a senior now and only need 10 credits to graduate this spring. I am currently applying to medical schools and was wondering if changing and being just a part time student in my final semester would be okay? I was told I needed to remain a full time student by someone else on SDN but this does not seem like it would be true.
