Will compensate for UC Irvine switch

I'm very much in need of switching my interview date at UC Irvine as I just found out that I can't be there on Nov 30 and will already be in Orange County on Dec 7 for family reasons.

I'm currently scheduled for the afternoon of Nov 30.
I would like to switch to either the morning or the afternoon session of Dec 7.

I'm willing to compensate part of your travel costs if you can make the switch! Please PM me if interested!

This is a dangerous precedent to set. Offering to compensate people may lead to abuses of well intentioned offers... Be careful.

To those of you who are concerned:

I realize that there may be some reservations regarding my willingness to compensate, but I do not feel that my offer is one of payment. I am simply redirecting the funds I would spend on my own travel to cover the expense of someone else changing their travel plans.

I am not posting this reply to start a thread about the precedent I may or may not be setting, but I do respect your opinion and concern and thought it deserved a response.
