Will ERAS allow you to submit more than 4 letters?

I know on ERAS it says "select up to 4 letters" but if you wanted to select more letters will it allow you to and transmit them to a designated program?

You can deselect one of your 4 letters after you've submitted your application and applied to programs. Then, you can select your 5th letter. All 5 will be transmitted. However, this is likely not advisable because many programs may be annoyed to receive 5 letters and will think you do not know how to follow the rules.
