Will I be in a disadvantage?

Hi everyone I will be a Freshman at my local CC and I just finished my orientation and I also registered for classes.

The main problem Is apparently I didn't do so hot on some test for the school and the advisers told me that I would need to take remedial courses In order for me to actually start doing the course for my major which is Psych. Its only for one semester that I have to do It, It contains Math/English.

Anyways, would I be in a disadvantage in the future because I haven't taken the prerequisites for medical school right off the bat?

This shouldn't hurt you at all. A ton of people don't even know they want to do medicine until their sophomore year of later. Don't worry about it.
