I'm taking a full course load this spring as post bacc, but I know that one spring qtr grade will be slow to post. Right now, if I wait for every grade to post, that brings me up to 6/22 or later to submit my primary. Professor has been very slow and school says there's no guarantee. Waiting for all grades will bring me to a 3.20 cGPA, 3.06 sGPA, 4.0 postbacc.

If the grades for the rest of the courses are submitted (without that one class), it will bring me to 3.18 GPA, 3.04 sGPA, 4.0 postbacc, but I can probably submit one week earlier a few weeks earlier.
My stats are not the best, so I know applying early will help. I already have the rest of my app completed, just waiting on grades.

Is that one class worth waiting for - for the 0.02 GPA boost? What's the latest date that I should hold out and hope - before I give in and just submit my primary?

Thanks in advance!

Here are my stats:
I'm a nontraditional 28 yo applicant
MCAT: 517
postbacc GPA: 4.0
cumulative GPA: 3.20 vs. 3.18
cumulative sGPA: 3.06 vs. 3.04
(depending on if I wait for that one class to submit grade)

Teaching/tutoring Hours: +15k
Clinical Volunteer Hours: ~2000 (2020-2021) + 800 (from 2011-2015)
Nonclinical Volunteer Hours: ~200 (from 2020-2021)
Research: ~1000 hrs (from 2012-2015)
Shadowing: ~500 hrs (2020-2021)

The only reason you would want to wait is if the school's you are applying to have a 3.2 cutoff. Your PB gpa is great, you MCAT is great, the rest of your app is super solid. I'd say submit as soon as you can and update the grade when it comes in. Being early will get you looked at way faster, which is what you want with uneven stats and a good story.

okay thanks! with updating grades, it wouldn't be incorporated into my GPA once I send in my primary for verification, correct?
