I need to get my biochem prereq out of the way and it seems like no one offers Biochem A during the spring semester. Can I just jump into Biochem B without having ever taken Biochem A and understand what's going on?

1. most med schools don't have a prerequisite of biochem
2. most colleges only offer one semester of biochem
3. only one semester of biochem is taught in med school

---i've never heard of this biochem a/b thing----what is it?

I'm already accepted to USC Med and they do have a biochem requirement. The Biochem A/B thing comes from course catalog at Cal State Fullerton, where I will most likely try to fulfill my biochem requirement.

I think the confusion ocurred when you called it a "prereq" implying it was needed for med school.

Consider asking the professor directly or people who have already taken the Biochem B class.

if you're already accepted, ask the school if you can take the first semester at a different institution or if you can replace the requirement with another course.. you will be lost in the second semester without the background...

And it also seems like Cal Poly Pomona has Biochemistry divided into a couple courses.

Dude, you are accepted already, just take the class!
