I disagree, 3 weeks is a long time. I snail mailed Lecom's secondary on 10/24 from California. Was sent an email telling me my letters are missing on 11/1 and got a postcard yesterday (11/8) about the missing letters which was dated 11/2.
I'd call Erie MVDM! Good luck!!

You can call them.
I recieved a postcard saying I was complete the day after I got an email invite. But I would call them, make sure the letters didn't get lost.
thanks all! I emailed them yesterday and I got a complete email today. I hope they get back to me quickly on the invite/reject. I've been at this process since June and I just want some closure at this point, good or bad.

You have decent stats. Can't believe you haven't received any interview invites. It just goes to show how random this process is. You are very competitive for osteopathic schools. I'll be pretty surprised if you don't get some interviews. Did you apply to PCOM? Hang in there!

Thanks! I'm hoping to get some osteopathic love but who knows. I may be a marked woman. I'm applying to LECOM, NJSOM, and PCOM as of right now (mailing in my PCOM application tomorrow actually, just finished my essay). I wish I could apply more broadly but I just don't think I can make it through med school without family nearby to help with my two babes. Kids ruin everything 😉

If it's any help, I applied last year and everyone was so surprised when I didn't get any interviews. I had decent stats when I applied last year, as well as pretty much the same EC's I have now. I was thinking at least my state schools might give me some love, but no luck. This year, in August, my mom went to a psychic and she said that there was a force that was preventing me from getting into medical school. She did some sort of ritual, and a week later, I had my first interview invite. Now normally, I don't believe in this kind of stuff, but it does make you think. And the invite was from my #1 overall choice (among MD and DO). Maybe something to think about.
But I'm sure you'll be fine, MDVM, especially wtih teh DO schools. You just need to be patient.
BTW, every time I see your handle, I keep reading it as Mies Van Der Waal Mom. I think that means I've been a chemistry geek for too long.

That's what my parents always told me. And they always seemed to be looking at me when they said it.

Hmmm ... maybe I should invest in a cauldron and some eye of newt ...
