Hi everyone,

So my application to most of the med schools I applied to was completed between mid July and mid-August (the latest one was August 24th). How soon do med schools email out invitations for interviews?

It depends on the schools.

We (the SDN version of "we") have anywhere from 0 to was it 14?? interviews at allopathic medical schools.

It's a completely random process. You just gotta keep being patient. I know it gets old hearing people tell you that, but it really is the only way you can keep yourself sane when you're waiting on your first interview invite.

Nobody can answer this without knowing what your application looks like stat and EC-wise or without knowing what schools you applied to.

Even then, we really don't know and would be just guessing statistically. Some say there is a 4-week period between schools receiving apps and invitations for interviews if your application is moderate - good, but nobody can answer this for you, especially with no information. Sorry.
