Will joining the PPP ever disadvantage me in the future?

Hey everyone. I'm an incoming M1 and though I've been following the topics on r/residency and complaints about mid-level encroachment for a while, the recent controversies have finally convinced me to join the PPP. But before I officially join, is there any way this could be traced back to me eventually and/or affect my prospects at some "woke" residencies when I eventually begin to apply? I'm also planning on joining the Facebook group. I just don't want this to affect me negatively in the future.

Yeah I can't really think of a great reason either, just wondering if there was some sort of member list or something that could be checked. Not sure why residencies would even check that but I just wanna play it safe I guess.

I totally understand why you asked; it could come across the wrong way, especially before your career even starts. No worries

Also really sad state of medicine when joining a group dedicated to protecting physician scope and patient safety might be viewed negatively.
