I am currently registered to take the MCAT on June 1st, and as of today I do not feel like I am anywhere near where I should be. I'd like to move it back to June 30th, but my school's advisor has cautioned me that a later test date than June 1st will my impact my chances of getting acceptance(s) this cycle. Thoughts on this?

Agreed. It will affect it, but only marginally in my opinion. It depends on a lot of things, like what your score is and what the rest of your application looks like. I took my test at the end of July, applied at the end of August, and ended up being accepted to two schools.

I was in a similar situation. My original test date was 5/19 and I pushed back to 6/17. Now, i am not even sure if 6/17 will be enough. MCAT is definitely harder for nontrad, especially if you have not taken full 2 years to do a post-bac.
