I was accepted into medical school last October. My senior year in Biochemistry was quite demanding (research, thesis,...) and I ended up with an A, an A-, a B+, and a D. This D was not from a pre-req course. I ended my last semester with a 3.14 and my overall college GPA with 3.58. My concern is that D I recieved last semester. Do any of you think my acceptance could be revoked because of this. The course was also an advanced bio course. And I realize this all depends on the school but I just wanted to see what everybody else thinks of this situation.

Many thanks SDNers!

They aren't replying back fast enough and I'm getting impatient! Lol

My school had the conditions we had to meet in order to maintain our acceptance throughout our final year of school in the acceptance letter. Maybe check yours?

This. Usually you sign some paperwork/receive a list of conditions. What does it say? Unlikely that they would revoke it for 1 D.

I didn't get anything. My acceptance letter says 'Please note that your offer of acceptance is contingent upon your completion of any required coursework, maintaining a satisfactory GPA, and passing a background check.'
Other than that I have not received a list of conditions or anything of that sort.

Btw, I am desai32. Don't know why I got a new username..

I was in a similar situation. The only thing my school cared about was that my final transcript had a notation of my graduation.

Probably Not.

HOWEVER, the school in question will be the only one to give a definitive answer.

One D, probably not. If it were 3 D's and 5 F's, then yeah.
