I was a US senior last year, matched into a categorical general surgery spot and am now considering a switch to Radiology. I have been looking at the NMBE/ACGME statistics for the match for the last two years and everything is based on US Seniors and everyone else. I was a US Senior last year, but now that I am not, does that really make me sour grapes, or do I have a realistic shot at matching saying that I am about the average applicant? Anyone else been in my situation? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
