I am planning to take the MCAT this summer and in wanting to study for it I am only taking 1 class (human physiology), I am also auditing biochemistry 1 to get exposure to the material.
I graduated w/ my BSN in 2015 and have been working as a pediatric trauma registered nurse since then and have been taking the pre reqs over the last ~2 years. My cGPA is 3.77 and my sGPA is 4.0. Honestly my mom retired this semester (yay) and I told her years ago that I would take her on a christian pilgrimage to Jerusalem and I am working more this semester to afford this expense for when we leave in May. I don't plan to tell that to the adcoms as it isn't pertinent to my application, I just don't want to raise eyebrows as to why I am only taking one class this semester. All of my pre reqs are done except for orgo II and biochem and I am still currently volunteering.
Thoughts?
