will reapplication kick me off waitlist?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
None...why do so many people post this question? If anything, the adcoms will see that you are smarter and more serious about getting into medical school if you reapply ASAP while on waitlists.

I'm currently on a waitlist. I really want to apply early, but I was wondering what are the ramifications of this action?
Nothing happens if you apply again. Just make sure you have done something to improve your application from last years. Have you already applied? If not, your not really too early anymore.

What do you mean by "too early anymore"? What's early? What's not? I still haven't applied, and I'm probably going to apply in August after the mcat. I don't know though, maybe sooner.

I would highly recommend you get your app completed asap. Especially if you're a reapplicant. At the very least, make sure you have your transcripts sent before you complete you application, this way your not sitting around waiting for your transcripts to get there. Remember, there are a lot of other people just like you waiting to apply. The longer you wait, the longer it will take them to process your application because a hell of alot of people apply in late Aug/Sept. Applications usually get processed a lot quicker in June/(early)July. :luck: :luck:
