Will Schools Even Look at a Retake

So I retook my DAT on August 30th and I was in the second batch. My first DAT scores were submitted with my application on the second batch. I feel like i retook it for nothing because schools will not even look at my new scores.
First attempt: 18/20/17/20/18/15 (19 AA and 15 PAT)
Second attempt: 19/18/21/22/18/19 (20 AA and 19 PAT)
Thoughts and advice pleasee?

I think your scores get automatically updated. Did you mark the thing on your app stating you have a retake planned?

I was worried about this too. What I did was just sent an email to every school I applied to explaining that I had just completed a retake, and let them know I wanted my new scores considered. I also attached a copy of my unofficial score report. All of the schools were really cool about adding the unofficial scores in as a place holder until the official ones were made available. The only school that said they couldn't hold it was WesternU.

That's a great idea! I think I'll start emailing them tomorrow! Just gotta scan my unofficial scores. I feel like this application process never ends haha.

why would they not look at your new scores? schools constantly review any updates that happen to applications i think.
if youre worried that you will get rejected between now, and by the time schools recieve ur new scores....which is probably a 2-3 week wait period from aug 30th, then u should contact the schools and tell them u retook asap.

Some schools will even consider the unofficial scores when making a decision, so you might not have to wait two weeks for an invite, I didn't.

Yeah I mean I faxed the unofficals to schools that took it, but I'm worried that some schools have already looked at my file and will not look at it again with the new scores :/
