Another quick question:

If I apply to med schools this summer, will these schools consider any of my marks next Fall - 2006. I know that deadlines will pass by then, but will any schools take any of my marks and put them towards the GPA if they haven't yet made a decision on my application - for example if I'm waitlisted.

Basically, next year I wanted to take a couple of biology courses for my own interest, which I know will be very difficult and obtaining an A will be challenging. Or I could always take courses that I know I can get an A in and will boost my GPA a bit more.
So would any of these marks count down the road?

I agree with what Brettt said. The only way you will be able to use more As is basically if you're trying to get in off a waitlist, or if (heaven forbid) you have to reapply next year. You should probably just take what you want to take. A couple Bs or even a C or two shouldnt hurt at this point, but I would avoid a C just to be safe.

in my situation, I would love for them to be able to see my fall marks. I want to show them my last semester was a fluke :\
