Take the class and study your ass off. Also, get tutoring help and go to your Prof's (or TA's) office hours frequently. You will eventually have to face classes that are extremely difficult...might as well start now...

do you need calc for the med schools you're applying to? cuz if not -- I would check into whether or not you'll be OK with the 1 yr. of math that you will have once you finish trig.

your BCPM has already been brought down by .4 points (huge amount) by math classes -- probably best to avoid any more of that, especially if you don't need any more math for med schools.
