Hello, I’m currently a dual enrollment student, and completed AP Calculus AB this year (credit pending the score of my AP exam). I’m considering using the Calc AB credit to place into Calculus II at a local community college (of which I’m a DE student at). If I aim aiming for a competitive Medical School (such as UCLA DGSOM or Weill Cornell) and only plan on taking Calc II, would this be okay? Would it be recommended that I take Calc III/Multi-Variable to supplement the use of the AP credit?

Note: while I realize that Weill Cornell prefers pre-reqs to be taken at a 4-year institution, my Pre-Med Advisor told me that as long as I supplement all of my CC coursework with upper level classes in science at a 4-year, I’d be okay. Does this hold truth?

Thanks so much.
This is nothing to worry about
