Will you learn the same tricks a classroom course teaches you if you just use the books for MCAT prep?
For example, Kaplan uses the mapping method for verbal.
EK uses something else that seems to be a little more popular for verbal.
My question is if I just used the Kaplan books (not saying I will) without taking the class, would I learn about mapping and other test taking strategies that would be covered in a Kaplan classroom course?
Same with EK. Without taking their course, will the books give you key tips that you need to get a high score?
Just to be clear, Im not talking about content review. I know which companies are better than the others, but I was wondering if their books go over all the test taking strategies.
Thoughts on this?
