quick ? as a pgy-2 with a newborn, I am trying to pinch some where I can. Any reason, other than color photos, I should spend more to get a 5th edition to make life easier on call?
Thanks

lol i went ahead and got the 5th edition, pretty much the only difference is the nice pictures.

if you have the 4th edition and don't have 60 bucks to spare, stick w/ the 4th edition.

University just put in place pharma restriction policies that started July 1. we are working on getting what we can for free but so far have bought all books and lenses (besides BCSC, of course). ah well. went with 4th edition and has worked well so far.

If you want straight forward treatment & reference material choose 4th edition; if you want pictures etc choose Mass Eye & Ear.

just fyi, although the OP has already purchased a 4th ed., you can get a 5th ed. with color photos for ~$30 if you buy an international ed. the only difference b/t international ed. and US ed. for wills is the color of the cover (int'l has blue cover). i think i got mine off half.com
