Windsor = Scam. Even stole my $75.00 Application fee and did not process the application. Also, these Carib schools are run by more and more people from India, as is Windsor. If you understand that culture, then you may understand that when people on here say they play head games or other games, it is pretty much true in most cases. You may be able to understand what it would be like not to get fair grades, or any fair treatment, and they have no concept of fair or orderly, so they often try to circumvent any automatic testing or grades that they cannot manipulate themselves. It is old fashioned style pecking order and arrogance fueled by very insular characters, which leads to problems for students and the locals they mistreat.
After some rumors at my current school and Windsor, I suspect sex for grades exists. Also, during our professor evaluations, the professor had two Indian students who never sit near me sit behind me, since they really are a surly bunch of professors. And, they know each other at each school. My suggestion if you are having any trouble with this school or the other on the island, is to report them to the Department of Education, since they solicit business and run businesses in the United States. At some point Walden and Davenport should not be allowed to fund students to attend Windsor or any schools that have professors that have contact with Windsor. The Attorney Generals office can prevent them from soliciting through their Chicago office, which is a scam as well.

What is this thread?
A thread about Windsor not being a good school for Americans to attend, as was asked and answered by me and others. It seems on track. I can give you more details and photos if you are in disbelief of how Carib schools run.

I don't think anyone here needed to be convinced of that, but thanks I guess.

I suspect most have no idea how they are run, since it is difficult to know this directly without witnessing some of it directly. But, if you have no other options know the statistics and go from there. If your family has money to throw at this for you(many families do, and especially from the East Coast), than you are able to do a practitioners job(95% are), and 45% 1st year and 45% next year, so take the first offer possible, or pay interest on loans. American Schools in America, and especially the public schools are a totally different animal, and the students are a better class of people generally, so that may reflect on a lot of how things are run as well. Most students want the title and whatever status it brings, so if that is the dream it can be done.

It sort of did not seem to be said like you meant it, assuming you were not afraid to say something negative in the 1st place. I was surprised how few people can speak their mind in this profession, so thanks in return for indicating that.

I think what everyone is trying to say is that we agree with you. No one should go to Windsor. Sounds terrible!

You seem defensive and combative for no reason. No one disagrees with you, and asking what the point of bashing a trash Caribbean school that no one here would take seriously anyway is not negative.

Not sure what the comment about speaking my mind is about, since I think I do that pretty well. And often.

You seemed to be sarcastic over nothing. I addressed it below, since it seemed like some people must not know much about how many non-FAFSA ones are run. You did not have to read anything. The Navy desert battles must have been rough.

Watching the off-shore schools from a business perspective over the last 20 years has given me so many stories of the financial criminality that has gone on from one guy who was cited by three, count'em, three countries to cease and desist operations to convictions for tax evasion in the millions for sale of a school. Whether the small scam artist operations to large corporate run enterprises, they always have something other than simply producing good doctors as part of their motivation

my opinion of Carribean schools has been negative ever since I heard about this http://www.ktvn.com/story/32330403/...tion-for-approximately-60-drug-related-deaths

What are you talking about? I'm not being sarcastic at all. This thread seemed like an attempt to whistle blow on a school that no one on here would trust in the first place. No one is going to disagree that people should not go to that school.

And maybe you should serve for a couple days before you make light of someone's service. I have Shipmates who have died in the sandbox, and I have Shipmates who have died on the water.

Do not read if motive confuses you. Do not read if you are easily offended. Do not read if you are afraid to say the same or have no direct knowledge to share. Some day you will be able to contribute some direct knowledge, but if it benefits others you will not share it. Who still plays in a sandbox? The carib doctors that make it, are as good as the American school doctors, given that we still rank 28th in medical care, and behind several 3rd world nations. The making it part from a carib school is the unlikely 45% to be placed, and only in GP, which has been stated.

Are you a wizard?

Super uncalled for.
There are very few Navy guys on the ground of any measure whatsoever, and this guy/girl would know none of them, so you have no idea what is appropriate or not. He certainly does not know any that were killed. SNAFU is the norm, so could have read about some idiot doing something dumb and getting killed during training on-board a ship. Like I tried to state earlier, come back when you have some direct experiences other than the indicative colostrum still around your mouths and the wet still behind your ears.
I like Transcis, but you can call me Wizard if you like. some call me Wizard of True Star, but I have no idea why?

Confused you again?? Mass only takes Mass residents into Mass Med-schools, so you likely did not even make those simple odds. I can imagine why not.
You're right. It's pretty hard to get into a school I didn't apply too... I also have no idea what you're talking about or why you feel the need to call people out haha

Confused yourself again?? Thanks for following my posts and weighing in on them, but get a job for awhile first, then work on that before you get your first one after med-school. The lawyers eat you up, and you are lucky your company will settle for you. Being arrogant and coy at trials and of course lying, does not go well with insurance companies or lawyers employed by your health care unit. Live and learn, but live first, post selfies later.

Actually they finally changed this a year ago. Previously, the way the regulations read, a school could only admit someone with a Mass connection as there was no provision for OOS tuition. The regulations have now been changed and UMass will begin admitting up to 25 OOS per class

Confused yourself again?? I work full-time and have for the last couple years. Also way to assume you know more about a stranger's life than your own! It's such a nice personality trait.

Confused yourself again?? Lawyers' diets consist 99% of souls and 1% paychecks.

Confused yourself again?? I don't know why we're talking about trials right now, but I think it would be a judge who would have a problem with perjury (which I guess is what we're talking about now).
Live and learn, but live first, post selfies later.
Confused yourself again?? We're all having an argument online. That's pretty much lower than any amount of selfie-taking.

Another post reported. You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about or to whom you are talking. Sign on the line and do something for someone else for once before you act like you know something and have the right to question MY service.

yes I have "confused myself again" because every post you've made has been incoherent and off topic. Doesn't matter I have a feeling ban-hammer is coming soon 🙂
