Is the winter break a positive or negative in a rotation? I'm thinking positive because it gives you additional time to study for the shelf. What do you think?

Last thing you want to do over Christmas break is to be studying for an exam. It would be much better spent spending time with your family and forgetting that you are a third year medical student.

I think this is kind of a dumb question and I'm kicking myself for even posting....but, I can think of a thousand things I'd do during a break before studying would ever enter my mind.
I had 2 weeks of winter break after one shelf exam and before my next rotation started. It was awesome. Really helped me decompress before Surgery started.
