I have been planning to apply at the end of the year. However as the time is getting closer and closer, the debt that I will be signing up for is becoming more of a turn off. I was wondering if anyone had any idea on how hard it is to find a job in the lower part of wisconsin, and what I should expect the salary to be as a new grad. I constantly see that "jobs are plentiful in rural areas", but few people ever give data to back that up. I have called over 20 places to shadow but have only been able to shadow one corporate setting because of covid.

I know that Chicago is super saturated, but how "rural" do I need to be to find a good paying job to start making dents in my loan right out of school? I am looking to live somewhat close to Milwaukee but would be fine moving a few hours away.
