I want to withdraw my application from few schools. How do I do it? Is email is enough? or there is a procedure I have to follow? How about if I don't withdraw? What will happen?

Email them and get a confirmation.

If you don't care about the school then it won't hurt you. They will prob say thanks for informing us.

Generic way: "I wish to withdraw my application from your school because I do not think this school matches my interests. Thank you"

can one withdraw after being accepted? don't schools make you withdraw your apps from other school once you accept a spot with them?

Never been accepted. I just wanted to withdraw b/c of some reasons.

the admissions people (at least the schools i've called) all seem super nice. if you just talk to them i'm sure it will all work out.

You just need to email them. Sometimes if the school has an online supplemental application you need to fill out, there'll be a cancel or withdraw option.
