Hey guys,

I was wondering if you could clarify what this means. I am attempting to withdraw from a course due to personal reasons. It is through an extension program, so it is not your average 4 year university, and this is what it says on the withdrawal menu:

"A "W" will appear on your permanent student record, and this course will not appear on your transcript."

So if it's not recorded on my transcript, will schools still see that I received a W in this class?

Thanks

My 2 cents:
1)If it's a question for the school's policy, it's better to email the official adviser for Extension program.
2) I believe W's won't be recorded on your transcript because you are requesting to withdraw prior to full-refund deadline for Extension program. It's like "Drop date without a W" thing, but it'll still say you've withdrew from the course on your records for the purpose of school. Kind of like schools' own record system for each students, I believe.

Go ask the Registrar at the school.
