withdrawing from a school after deposit

im going to call nsu tomorrow to let them know i will not be attending in the fall. will i also need to write a letter? who do i address it to? i paid my deposits with a credit card too, do i need to write to the bursar to make sure that my information is destroyed? im kinda paranoid about that stuff.
also, do i have to tell them where ive decided to go instead?

Nope just call them. They don't need to know where you are going.
