Withdrawing from a waitlist without an acceptance

Hi everyone. I interviewed at a school and am on the waitlist now. After attending the interview and thinking a lot, I realized that I really do not want to go to it for multiple reasons. I have no acceptances at this time, but if I got into this particular school I would not want to go there. I want to withdraw from the waitlist. If i have to reapply next year, would other medical schools know that I withdrew from a waitlist? Would this be a red flag? Thank you.

No one will know. Schools don't share that information. Of course, you won't reapply to that school!
