Withdrawing from an interview invite

Hey guys,

I have been to 5 interviews already and feel pretty confident about them. I do know if I should withdraw from my 6th one, I am still debating... I was wondering if I do decide to withdraw from it will it hurt my chances of getting into any of the other schools I interviewed at. Thanks

First congrats on all those interviews and being confident about them. Your question is interesting. My opinion is that I don't think it would hurt your chances at other schools. They have so many applications and each school is just trying to get the right people to fill their class. They will probably just take your withdraw and move along to other applicants. In terms of the other schools you have already interviewed at, I don't think they will even know you withdrew the invite or care very much if they do know because it shows more interest in their schools. Also, it is a mature decision if you are sure you do not want to interview or go to that school. Otherwise, you are just wasting hte schools time and your money. I hope that helps.

I'm withdrawing from 1 of my interviews soon also.. I dont think its a big deal. Just let them know.
