Hello,

I had submitted my AACOMAS application and got successfully verified as well. But due to a family emergency, I had to abruptly withdraw my application for this cycle. I have, however, received email responses from the schools I was intending to apply to. Since they only got my primary application, they (the schools) probably don't know that I have withdrew the application.

What should I write in response to their emails? Also, I am planning to re-apply again next year, so will withdrawing my application at this stage look bad when I reapply to the same schools (or DO schools in general)?

Thank You.

You don't need to tell the schools anything. The emails that you are getting are mass emails.

If you feel strongly about it just send a short email back stating you had to withdraw your application for emergent family circumstances, but would appreciate their consideration next year.

Thank You for the response guys. I will send a short email to them.
