Hey!

So I withdrew from Gen Chem last semester because of three reasons.
1. It was online-- (don't ask me why it didn't click earlier that this was a bad idea.)
2. I was doing poorly in it
3. I realized that doing it at a university would look better (I was in college, duel enrolled)

So, I left all my pre recs (minus the Biology...) to do at Uni. I am going to be taking gen Chem 1 this Fall and was wondering if it looked odd that I would take this course of action. I mean, to me, it looks good, but I was wondering what you all had to say about it. (BTW I am going to be a Bio major, so more Bio at university for me.)

Thanks for the advice!

I don't know if a W in dual enrollment will be viewed my adcoms when you apply but ONE W will not raise any red flags. Just do well in it and no one will ever bat an eye on your withdrawal from before. However to keep in mind for the future, chronic withdrawals from classes may raise eyebrows. GOOD LUCK!

Thank you all for your encouragement. I have only have one W on my transcript, I don't plan on any more than that...

If it relieves any stress, I had a W on my transcript in a prereq when I applied and I got a merit scholarship offer at a med school. If you do well otherwise, your W should be no problem at all.
