Need some advice on how to handle this situation. I received a prelim medicine interview invite from Woodhull in Brooklyn in late October. The email specifically said do not call and do not send multiple emails. So I wrote with my preferred dates a week ago. Since the hurricane happened, I figured they were behind on responding to emails. However, their interview invite specifically says to submit interview date requests by Nov 8th.

I would *really* like to do my prelim year there due to family who live a few blocks away, which would save me a ton on housing. Should I write back, or call? I'm not sure if they're waiting until after Nov 8th to send out interview confirmations.

Anyone else in the same boat with Woodhull?

I'm not sure what the problem is.

They asked you to send a single email with your preferred dates. You did that.
The s**t hit the fan 6 ways from Sunday and it's entirely possible that the PC can't get into work and has no power/internet at home.
The deadline for submitting your choice of dates is still 3 days away and they're probably not getting back to anybody until after that anyway.

If you haven't heard back by the end of next week, it's probably not unreasonable to send another email but until then you need to relax about this one.

I havent gotten confirmed yet either if it makes you feel better, responded within minutes of receiving invite.

Another colleague of mine did get confirm on Friday because he selected a date sometime next week, so maybe she is going in order of date? Not sure but I wouldnt call or email again as the directions specifically say not to

Good luck

I got my IV confirmed last Friday.

When was your interview scheduled for? Early Nov?

Yup.. next week.

Did you have your U@Buffalo IV yet?

Ya I wouldn't email them either. I responded immediately and still haven't gotten a confirmation for my IV which I requested in late december so it looks like they are confirming by order of upcoming IV dates
