I am writing the description of these activities ahead of time, and I was wondering if someone could help me with the timeline. I know that this cycle the application opens up at the end of May and then is sent to school at the end of June. If I have an activity that I am going to be doing during the month of June and it will be completed before the applications are sent to the school, can I include it here? I know roughly what the responsibilities I will have and such. It would be roughly 200+ hours of clinical experience.

My understanding is that you have to have started at the place by the time you submit the application. Also, if you have no hours currently built up at the place the ADCOMs will pretty much ignore it because there is no gaurentee you will ever do any hours. You could say "500 hours will be completed by matriculation" but in reality you could do 5 hours and quit, thus they don't care. The area where this may benefit you is if you sent an update letter to a school.

I agree with @Pooker_. Either update your application later or wait a few weeks to submit your app if it's that big of an EC for you.

Thanks for the advice! I will probably just update the schools, instead of submitting my application at the end of June to get it verified.
