I graduated this summer, but I'm going to be a full-time student this fall and take recommended/prerequisite classes(anatomy, biochem, etc.) I was a pre-pharm student and have been working as a part-time pharmacy technician throughout my undergraduate years.

Do you think it would be held against me if I put this in my application as it might imply that I'm more interested in pursuing pharmacy?

I do plan on getting some shadowing done in dentistry this year, but I don't want to have an empty application for work experience during prior years.

Go ahead and put it down. If anything, it just shows that you did your homework and discovered pharmacy just wasn't for you. There are plenty of applicants that started off in different fields and switched over to dentistry. You can't hold anything against them. Just make sure you have enough exposure to dentistry and that you truly want to pursue it.

dude, like, no worries, I've been chillin on a beach for 3 years teachin people to surf man. And they like totally let me in, brah. Rad.

Pharmacy...heavy. That sounds like a real job.
