Do the one that'll make you happy. It's like you asking me to tell you to choose between skim milk and 2% milk, and I don't have any idea what your taste is like.

I know a bunch of people get accepted to pharmacy programs with no work experience in a pharmacy. You have four years to ascertain work experience in a pharmacy while you are in school, and applying what you are learning. I wouldn't frett too much if you want the lab job more.

Your golden. Most of the people I know that got accepted simply worked at a pharmacy.

My personal opinion is that you should take the CVS job, for two reasons. One is that (although you certainly can be accepted to pharmacy school without it) it makes you a more competitive candidate if you have had some experience already. I found that helped me A LOT in interviewing. Second reason is that it will help you once you are in pharmacy school. If you have worked a couple of years and already know a lot of the drug names and how to do some basic things in the pharmacy, it will help you with your classes. I'm a P1, and I've found my experience to be helpful in almost every class I've taken so far. Didn't make any difference in biochem, but for the rest it was nice to have some prior exposure to community setting, already know some medications and what they were for, and have some experiences I could write about for my communications class.

I am going to work at both.................😀
