not to be off topic but my parents also own a restaurant and I worked there ever since high school. Would you guys think it would be a good thing to write on my PS how the work there and the customer service involved(I was the waiter) improved my work ethics and mainly with dealing customers that are oh so fastidious at time. Also how i learned how to prioritize my time from high school and that follow with me to college and can be seen by my decent gpa while working at a job. I'm just trying to brainstorm ideas, sorry OP for threadhijacking 🙄
Here, I'll help you. Don't answer the question on the board, its just a simple question to help you brainstorm.
"Name a few traits that you've learned working in a restaurant that will help you succeed in pharmacy school, and ultimately as a pharmacist."
"What are some of the traits that you think a pharmacists has, and do you have those traits?"
"What does compassion, dedication, loyalty, self-sacrifice mean to you, and have you demonstrated them in your previous job, and how important are these traits in healthcare?"
"How important is teamwork to you, especially in the workplace, in the classroom, and later in a pharmacy environment?"
Your PS should tell me something about you that your grades/scores cannot.
To the OP: your work experience/EC doesn't have to be related to pharmacy, but your answers should somehow show you are prepared for pharmacy school and later on, as a pharmacist.
