How many hours a week do general dentists work on average?

I believe the average work week for a dentist is around 37 hours/week....this info. can be obtained from the American Dental Association web-site.

I would not give much weight to average work hours per week stats for dentists. Do those figures factor in continuing education, post operative patient follow ups, community involvement, volunteer services etc?
