After reading the discussions on the NYtimes article(http://www.nytimes.com/2013/02/24/b...new-veterinarians.html?ref=veterinarymedicine) I decided to read the report on the state of the profession which the article references. I was able to access the report via http://www.nap.edu/catalog.php?record_id=13413. You can download the pdf for free. I have found it very enlightening to read and just thought I would share the link should anyone else want to read it. If you have difficulty downloading the pdf feel free to message me and ill send you my copy.

Your welcome 🙂 Let me know what you think!

This is super helpful. Thanks for uploading it!

Along the same lines- although I think the other documents they've produced might be more relevant to vet med specifically- this report has some good background on the financial trends affecting the educational milieu you may be jumping into. Courtesy of Bill Thomas, veterinary neurologist at UTK and long time thinker on how to maintain access to veterinary education in an era of constrained finances.
