After reading the discussions on the NYtimes article(http://www.nytimes.com/2013/02/24/b...new-veterinarians.html?ref=veterinarymedicine) I decided to read the report on the state of the profession which the article references. I have found it very enlightening to read and just thought I would share the link should anyone else want to read it. Along the same lines- although I think the other documents they've produced might be more relevant to vet med specifically- this report has some good background on the financial trends affecting the educational milieu you may be jumping into.
