Working at Long Beach Memorial

My classmate is actually doing her internship there. She mentioned that as an intern they will rotate you through all the sites: outpatient, inpatient, and ambcare. The good thing about this site is that they actually have trainers working next to you and running through a list of things you need to know. This is a great idea. I like the formal training aspect as I did not have this working at kaiser. Interns (outpatient) are thrown rite into the front to do battle w/ minimal training. I pick up new things as I encounter them. This really makes the learning process harder as alot of people will tell you how they deal with this and that and it can differ from the other person.
