I have a feeling that this has already been addressed, so I apologize for any redundancy, but I searched and didn't find anything. How many people work a significant amount of time during med school? Is it usually kept to a weekend or 1 day/week kind of deal? Also, what kind of job do you guys suggest? I am currently a tutor for a small company that specializes in SAT prep and I get $25/hr, which is great and allows a flexible schedule, but Kaplan and PR (i think) will let you take a free Step 1 course if you teach the MCAT section. Has anyone taken advantage of this? Was the course worth the time taken out to teach the MCAT? Thanks for any input and sorry if this has already come up.
