Did you find out any information about Great Expressions? I'm curious too. There's an opening for an associate for one near me and I have an interview with them.

all of these are mills i would do it if your a new grad looking to start but nothing longterm

Do they accept foreign trained dentists also? I would appreciate your reply.

Just type the name of the practice into google and read some reviews. It'll give you an idea of what you are walking into. Not to say those aren't kinda one sided, but when you see 5-10 reviews that are all 1 or 2 stars it probably means a decent number of your patients won't love the set up and that makes your own life as a dentist working in those places harder.

I just gleaned the reviews....lots of stuff about long waits, upselling, and DMOs

I've seen some of these places around town.

They look like they are Taco Bells which just happen to have employees slaving away on teeth instead of tacos.

I fully intend to steer entirely clear of any such hideous insult to any profession, esp. dentistry.

I worked for great expressions here in Florida. Did not have a bad experience. I was two years out of school. Paid 500/day against 35% collection w/ 35 % lab. You'll be fine as long as you can produce at least that. if you don't then you probably wont have a job for long. But no complaints here.

I have also worked for Aspen Dental. But I do per diem with them only. The pay me 600/day plus lodging and traveling. Aspen and great expressions are two different things. Aspen tailors more to uncompliant pts. A lot of RPDs/dentures. Great expressions is bread and butter dentistry. Aspen works under a very very fast pace. A lot of turnover of doctors because of this which is good for me bc I cover those days. Great expressions was more of a learning experience for me. I would recommend great expressions first.
