i see their ADs once in a while, it sounds nice. you will be an officer, wearing officer uniforms, travel around the world, get paid, and probably have a very generous retirement benefit afterwards, etc. it sounds so good to me.

can someone tell me more about it?

This should tell you most of what you need to know about the Corps.

I'm really interested in being an EIS officer (Epidemic Intelligence Service) with the CDC. They have a home assignment, i.e. CDC or health dept, but then respond to various health crises around the world when needed. VERY cool. I'm working with a former EIS officer @ the CDC who responded to the anthrax scares post-9/11. That's what I want to do- be a first responder to whatever is going on in the world. Now I just need my MD or PhD. Small task right? 😛
