Working in different states

Is it possible to have an MHC degree leading to becoming a LMHC in one state, but wanting to work in a different state? I'm not talking about private practice b/c I know you have to do that for the state you're licensed in. I'm just curious if one could get a job at a hospital in one state while being licensed in a completely different state? Thanks for your help guys.

That's good to know, thanks. Do you know of places that do require licenses? Also, if you do have your license for one state can you still work in another state requiring a license or is one restricted w/ that license for that particular state if that job requires a license?
